SAP Offers CXOs New Roadmap for Digital Transformation, Upgraded Tools for Recruiting

SAP recently expanded its Digital Commerce portfolio, making its products more accessible and increasing efforts to boost innovation among customers.

“To help customers maneuver through the changes brought on by it, SAP is unveiling new offerings: services that expand SAP’s digital commerce portfolio beyond software, content and data; programmable digital interfaces that enable customers to embed new services into their communications mix; and tools to set the course for successful digital transformation,” Jonathan Becher, chief digital officer of SAP.

SAP Hybris and the Push Towards Enterprise Microservices – An analysis

Pizarro: Meet the San Jose Museum of Art’s New Executive Director

SAP Digital Customer Insight and beyond – SAP’s data as a service plans unfold

Drawing on meetings and online inquiries, Dick Hirsch dons the investigator hat again to pursue SAP’s data as a service moves in Digital Customer Insight and beyond. SAP Summit Colombia

With the attendance of over 1,000 executives, the SAP Summit Colombia was held in Corferias (Bogotá), in which the challenges and technologies available to companies in the era of the digital economy were presented.

Jonathan Becher, Chief Digital Officer, concluded the plenary by quoting Daniel Dennet (philosopher, writer and scientist) who recently said that we are facing a digital revolution, similar in impact, as was the Cambrian explosion. “We are in a period of extraordinary innovation and SAP wants to be the ally in this digital transformation.”

The 7th edition of the SAP Forum Mexico was held at Expo Santa Fe. The message that was highlighted was that it is now time to reimagine, evolve and transform our business to be part of the Digital Economy. More than 6,000 attendees gathered at SAP Forum Mexico 2017.

Jonathan Becher, Chief Digital Officer at SAP, took the stage to talk about the concept of transformation. He cited several examples of the transformation that he sees every day in Silicon Valley. He spoke of his experience with autonomous cars, with virtual and augmented reality, and how even though these technologies seem far away, they are certainly proof that transformation is happening now.

Banking, Digital Transformation and the Challenge for Its Suppliers

During the past SAP Forum [Mexico], we had the opportunity to interview Jonathan Becher, Chief Digital Officer at SAP, who provided statements on the new wave of digital transformation.

At the outset, SAP has gone from being a company that has served large corporations to small and medium enterprises. Becher explained that SAP is now focused on addressing the digitization of things, the internet of everything, and the automation that is building more than ever. SAP aims to give its customers options and tools that can help them get a handle on the digital revolution.

Becher notes that while CIOs have been the traditional drivers of transformation, today it is the responsibility of all business parties to provide information and advance technology. “We are in the process of change. Today you can even buy products from SAP with your own credit card in less than an hour, without the need to wait for contracts to be signed.”
